Good news - Beta Testing on content/product updates is finished!

We have some good news to share.

The beta testing of the Content Page Override features and the Product Item Override features are both completed and both features are working successfully.

We also have additional good news - the Content Page Override Feature, and the Product Item Override feature are now both included in our Silver, Gold and Platinum plans at no additional charge.

Members in Bronze and legacy plans will be able to opt into these new features for an additional monthly service cost of $5 for each of the features.

To use the feature, simply log into your store backoffice. Then go access your Store via the "GO SHOPPING" link in the upper left menu of your store backoffice.

On each content page and product item that is eligilble for overriding and updating, you will find a grey box at the bottom of the page. Simply click on the link in the grey box and you will be presented with a popup window where you can updated selected attributes of the page. You can also add additional copy onto the pages - leaving the default copy intact and simply supplementing it with your own copy as well. Why would you do that - because unique copy that no one else has helps your pages rank more highly than your competitors.

So for all Silver, Gold and Platinum level members, please enjoy these new features. And Bronze and Legacy Plan members, you will have access to these options once we have updated our billing system to allow you to opt in. Expect this sometime in April.

Hey There! I can't find the grey button at the bottom of each page when I 'go shopping' from my back office...have I missed something? Please help asap!!

Hi Candy,

I just checked and your store is on the entry level Bronze plan. You can wait for us to update our system to allow Bronze store members to add in this option, or you can upgrade to ur Silver plan, which offers a number of SEO/Search Engine Optimization features to allow you to better promote your store.

As a premium store with 30fold, what do I need to do to get in on the customization?

As a store that is enjoying service through our relationship with 30fold, simply contact 30fold and request they change you on to the Silver level plan and you will be good to go!

Did your catalogs arrive? You should have received them by now!

I changed some of my pages using this feature previously, however, now the feature doesn't seem to be available?  At least on my store, I go to the "Go Shopping" section and there is the Retail and Wholesale option, but neither of these has the option at the bottom of the page to customize the page.

Am I missing something?

THe issue is always with session management. Specifically you need to log onto your store using the URL of the main site.

For example, if your default site setting (check STORE SETTINGS, URLs) is set to www.bollybooks.com, then you want to log into your store admin feature using

http://www.bollybooks.com/admin

If you log on using your deeperShopping site shortcut such as http://bollybooks.deepershopping.com/admin - then because the domain name has a different domain to your main website, some session variables will be lost - specifically the ones that let you override content. So be sure to log into your admin area by starting with the correct URL and i think your problems will go away.
