In the Back Office under "Marketing Message and Email Campaign Options", I have marked "Enrolled In Auto Marketing Campaigns" and updated.

I thought that was the only thing I had to do to have automated messages sent to my newsletter sign-ups.  However, I clicked on "Review Automated Marketing Messages" and saw that a message was sent Sept 25.  Persons who have signed up to receive my newsletters did not receive that Sept 25 message. (This would be the first newsletter that went out since I have my site.)  I have carefully checked in the Back Office, but I cannot find anything else that I must do to have the automated marketing messages sent to those on my newsletter list.

Have I missed something?

I just replied to a comment on another thread about email campaigns.  This is happening to me also, where I had previously been having email campaigns sent out, those suddenly ceased last June.

I see no response here to this post, and I have had no response whatsoever to emails sent directly to support or any response to phone calls regarding this issue and other issues.

Blessed be,

Beth

Thank you, BethS, for replying!  At least now I know that if it is also happening to other people, I probably have done it right, and the problem is in the system.  Up until now, I thought I had missed something else that I had to do to make the automated messages work.  Maybe someone will still resolve this issue for us.

The Automated worked for me when I signed up for them in the past. I now send my own NLs because I had a problem at that time with the header/footer of the automated email campaigns. It seems to have been corrected.

What I've done in the past was copy the source code from one of the previously sent email campaigns and paste it into a new email campaign. However now, in doing so, I am noticing an extra header/footer to the "revised" NL I've just tried to change-- not sure if the additional header/footer will appear in the actual NL Campaign if I was to send this to my email subscribers.

Another option (easier) would be to highlight and copy one of the NLs and paste it into your email -- I guess that's if your email service provider will let you -- mine does -- which is much easier than copying the source code. I just tried it and it does not have the "extra" header/footer! This is good!

Hopefully this helps some for now.
